COSMIC JOURNEY.

In a working agreement with NASA and the USSR, they were to provide the latest developments in Space Technology for inclusion in this traveling exhibit that will to be updated on a regular basis.

THE DOME
The exhibit, designed in the spirit of a road show, is housed under a 300’ diameter geodesic dome. The collection of full scale space hardware, mock-ups, artifacts and personal items was to change as new landmarks in space technology were attained.

The Space Station was the major focus of the exhibit and featured full-scale elements of the Structural Truss Grid and the Service / Command Module. All other elements traced the history of the space program up to the present and included future programs for earth monitoring and missions to other planets.

THE ART GALLERY
In addition to the exhibit, a Gallery was planned for works that were being generated based on the space program and all its related spinoffs. All items were for sale, including Paintings, Sculptures, Photography and Artifacts. The Collection was to be updated on a regular basis.
