After making a decision to select a particular plan of action (the random visit to the COLLECTION or the programed itinerary of a VISIT) the visitor selects a ticket kiosk positioned at the entry of the 3 main Pavilions of the Museum. There Tickets and Guide Books can be purchased. A handout pocket sized folder gives a history of the Palatial Louvre, it's interiors and a map
of the site development over the centuries. It includes a plan of the entire Louvre complex showing
Le Jeu De Paume, the L‘'Orangerie and the Tuileries.
