The VISITS Wall offers specific options to view the Museum’s highlights. A visitor can select from a variety of 8 options: The Temporary Exhibits - A programmed 2 hour Tour - A area of particular Interest (Antiquities, Beaux Arts, The Palatial Louvre) - or a particular Pavilion (Sully, Denon, Richelieu). A visitor may encounter a variety of items in the Collection along their chosen route. For example the 2 hour tour takes you to Greek Classics, Oriental Arts, Objects of Art and English Paintings.
Symbols and text identify items in the Collection to be seen on the selected tour. Monitors present a short video of the Collection
along that particular tour. Multilingual Guides offer a brochure with plans and text that define each tour.
